Following the remarkable success of Elite Minds – Season 1, Orchidia proudly launches Elite Minds in Ophthalmology – Season 2, building on a journey defined by excellence, ambition, and outstanding scientific competition.

What began as a challenge to test knowledge and push limits has evolved into a trusted platform that celebrates talent, rewards dedication, and inspires continuous growth. Season 1 brought together exceptional ophthalmologists who proved that true excellence comes from knowledge, preparation, and the courage to compete.

Season 2 invites a new generation of Elite Minds to step forward — to challenge themselves, share their expertise, and become part of a growing community driven by success, learning, and professional distinction.

Competition Overview

Scope of the Competition:
The competition focuses exclusively on Ophthalmology, assessing participants’ scientific knowledge, clinical understanding, and professional awareness through structured, team-based competitive rounds.
Eligibility: The challenge is open to ophthalmologists holding a Master’s degree or Fellowship, who are motivated to challenge themselves, compete scientifically, and grow within an elite professional platform.
Team-Based Registration:
Participants must register in teams, with each team consisting of 5 members.
All phases of the competition are conducted in team format from the beginning, emphasizing collaboration, strategy, and collective performance.
Screening Phase (Online Qualification):
Each participant will complete a customized individual online assessment covering ophthalmology medical knowledge, and Orchidia products’ knowledge. While the assessment is taken individually, the team’s final score will be calculated as the average of the five members’ scores, and teams meeting the qualifying (50%) criteria will advance to the on-ground phase.

Competition Rules

Online Phase

Team-Based Participation:
Participation in the competition is strictly team-based, with each team consisting of 5 ophthalmologists. Registration is only accepted in complete team format.
Individual Online Assessment:
Each team member must complete a customized individual online scientific assessment within the announced timeframe. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
Screening Passing Score:
The minimum qualifying score for each team is 50%, calculated as the average score of all five team members.
