Scope of the Competition
The competition focuses exclusively on Ophthalmology, assessing participants’ scientific knowledge, clinical understanding, and professional awareness through structured, team-based competitive rounds.

Eligibility
Open to ophthalmologists holding a Master’s degree or Fellowship, motivated to challenge themselves, compete scientifically, and grow within an elite professional platform.

Team-Based Registration
Participants must register in teams of 5 members. All phases are conducted in team format from the beginning, emphasizing collaboration, strategy, and collective performance.

Screening Phase (Online Qualification)
Each participant completes an individual online assessment (ophthalmology knowledge + Orchidia products). The team score is the average of the 5 members. Teams meeting the 50% criterion advance on-ground.

Competition Phases
Two main phases: an Online Phase (scientific qualification, general knowledge, Orchidia products) followed by an On-Ground Phase with the same approach.

Coaching System
Each team selects a coach to guide, mentor, and support preparation, strategy, and performance development.

On-Ground Kick-Off
The on-ground competition officially kicks off during EOS 2026, marking the start of the live competitive waves.

The competition concludes in November 2026, recognizing top-performing teams as the Elite Minds in Ophthalmology – Season 2 champions.
